Green Cleaning
While some cleaning contractors offer green cleaning as an option or special service, HEITS uses environmentally preferred products, equipment and techniques as a standard on every job.
When it comes to a green facility maintenance program, one size does not fit all. To assure a proper fit for your needs, your HEITS Green Clean cleaning professional will provide a free evaluation of your facility and determine the most appropriate green products and services to address your particular situation.
Our services incorporate the most current environmentally preferred tools available. As an example, we exclusively mop and clean floors with micro-fiber mops, which is a technique endorsed by the American Society for Healthcare Environmental Services. Using micro-fiber mops reduces cross-contamination, computer static, and workman's compensation claims. We also use micro-fiber cleaning cloths to dust and clean other flat surfaces.
Five of our standard Green Clean Team cleaners are certified by Green Seal. Three of them, (all-purpose, industrial & bathroom, and glass cleaners) meet the Green Seal GS-37 Standard for Institutional and Industrial Cleaners. Two others, (floor seal / finish and floor finish remover) are Green Seal GS-40 certified.
